Less than 4 days from now we will have crowned the Academia 77 KG tournament winner and 70 KG tournament winner in addition to welcoming a new interim 84 KG title holder! Am not sure about you guys, but I sure as hell cannot wait!

Can you imagine the rush in the Arena when Fakhreddine and Thabet step into the cage and Yves Lavigne gets the action underway? Or when Ghorabi faces Azzedine Belharch in a contest that pits together a striker and a grappler? Or how about the two Sanda practitioners Tareq Hamdi and Elie el Rayess who will in all likelihood throw multiple hundred strikes if the fight goes over the 3 minute mark?!

There is a lot on the line for the Academia winner(s). Not only will they be able to crown a terrific run throughout the fighter house, they will also certainly put their name into contention to become a leading contender for their divisions title fight with a few more wins!

Seeing Thabet face Fakhreddine will be an intriguing fight! Fakhreddine always puts on a crowd pleasing display and it will be interesting to see how the Muay Thai camp that he attended in Thailand will have impacted his approach. In Thabet he will face one of the most cerebral fighters in MMA in the Arab World who already is coming off a ridiculous win streak .

We also have another five fights to look forward to! Mahmoud Said vs Sylvester Saba will see two former team mates face each and we will also witness the return of Ali Naemi to the octagon where he will come up against the Malaysian based Saudi Muay Thai fighter Mohamed Alsebaie!

The card is made up of three more fights, all of which are early contenders for Fight of the Night and KO of the Night awards! The Moroccan Sensation Anas Siraj Mounir will return to the Middle East’s premier MMA organization to try to continue his mind boggling run and build on the success of his first foray at Desert Force. Standing in his way is none other than Mounir Lazzez, a Dubai based Tunisian striker with a 2-0 professional record who made his wishes clear to the Desert Force management upon signing on the dotted line: “I want Anas… No one else but Anas for my first fight”. 2 unbeaten fighters putting their records on the line! One thing is for sure, the fans are in for a treat!!

Elsewhere on the card we have Mounir’s team mate, Victor Monfort, facing the Egyptian Amr Wahmann in what should be a striking bonanza!!!! Wahmann will be looking to get back into the title contention after losing the title fight against the current champion Aniss Hajjajy but will face one of his toughest tests in Victor, the only fighter to end a Georges Eid fight prematurely!

Last but not least, we have an 84 KG fight between two beasts in Ibrahim Sawi and Rafat Shawe! Strikers who love to bang and throw limbs and sever heads.

There is no fucking way you aren’t looking forward to this night!!!!
