The legendary Mamed Khalidov (35-7-2) turned back the clock at KSW 55 to finish Scott Askham (19-5) with a highlight reel finish just 36 seconds into the first round to once again win the middleweight title.
Khalidov had a decorated career throughout the promotion’s history. The Chechen born fighter joined the promotion in 2007, debuting with a win over Alexander Stefanovic at KSW 7. He went on a 10 year undefeated run in KSW, racking up 23 wins.

In their previous confrontation, Khalidov lost to UFC vet Scott Askham, by decision. Khalidov headed into KSW 55 with an aim to get revenge on Ashkam and reclaim the middleweight title.
The highly anticipated rematch lasted just 36 seconds. Khalidov landed a switch kick that landed flush on Askham’s jaw. Khalidov followed and threw a couple of punches before the referee could call it off. KO of the Night, of course, went to Mamed Khalidov’s insane switch-kick head-kick knockout over Scott Askham.
