Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the first global Mixed Martial Arts event in the month of December. Brave Combat Federation found by Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, from the royal family of Bahrain will be hosting its 19th edition in Saudi Arabia. The event was sanctioned after the proactive liberalisation policies by the Kingdom which had recently opened its economy to sports and media initiatives.
Brave Combat Federation revealed plans to host events in 8 nations in the coming months of 2018. The events will take place in Morocco, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Bahrain, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and India. The upcoming events were confirmed during the Brave Global Expansion 2018 Conference held in Bahrain. The promotion has announced that there will be aggressive expansion in the athlete relations and the broadcast department leading to 2018. Currently over 250 athletes has signed or represented from 43 nations in Brave Combat Federation.
The announcement was made by Mohammed Shahid, President of the Brave Combat Federation alongside Khaled Al Khayat, President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation, Yousef Mohammed, Director of Marketing from the Ministry of Tourism and Abid Jhanghir, Representative Director of GreenHill Sports UK.
Brave Combat Federation has hosted events in Bahrain, UAE, Brazil, India, Mexico, Jordan, Indonesia, United Kingdom and Morocco there by aiming to create a global eco-system for the sport of mixed martial arts.Brave Combat Federation will be hosting the 2018 Brave International Combat Week which will feature the 2018 IMMAF World Championships alongside a premium edition of Brave Combat Federation.
