The fight is an important milestone in the career of Fakhreddine as he is set for redemption after the loss suffered in a fight which was so far the biggest rivalry in the history of MMA in Middle East. Much have changed regarding the fight preparations as Fakhreddine selected to train at Fortis MMA instead of his usual camp at Tiger Muay Thai. Fortis MMA is also home for Abdul Kareem Al Selwady who is so far undefeated at Brave Combat Federation. Fortis MMA approached the fight on a strategic level which so far had given results at Brave Combat Federation.

“I was fighting with injuries in most of my previous fights. Currently I have the best training and I am healthy for war. I am at the best shape in my career. I am coming back for the welterweight championship title”, stated Mohammad Fakhreddine.

Wheeler had made an impact by overcoming Pawel Kielek in Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises in Amman, Jordan. After the defeat, Kielek fought again in the twelfth edition of Brave Combat Federation in Jakarta, Indonesia defeating the ex-UFC superstar, Mehdi Baghdad by unanimous decision. Hence much is expected from Sidney Wheeler. Fakhreddine had been one among the first fighters in the Middle East to embrace the professional level in Mixed Martial Arts. There is much on stake for the welterweight fighter from Lebanon while he is set to have his first fight away from the Middle East. This marks the first time “The latest” will be fighting in the United Kingdom.

“The decision by Brave Combat Federation to head to Europe is inspiring for all the Middle Eastern fighters. this is the opportunity the MMA world in the region had been waiting for. It is an honour to be in the fight card. This year I am focusing to be more active than any other year in my career and to create a global impact”, concluded Fakhreddine.
