Missed this most recent Desert Force 21 on MBC Action event? Or perhaps looking to revisit some of the top stories from “Desert Force 21” in Amman? We’ve got you covered.

After being originally scheduled for KSA, Desert Force charged into the King Hussein Boxing Arena last Monday night (March 14, 2016), thanks to a stacked mixed martial arts (MMA) event from the promotion’s home base of Jordan.

Desert Force 21 event crowned three champions, Ezzedine Al Derbane, Amine Nacheb, and Mostafa Rached, in each of the following divisions respectively: featherweight (interim), heavyweight, and light heavyweight.

The headliner saw the victory of Ezzedine Al Derbane, who shocked Hamza Kooheji with a vicious knee as the Bahraini went for a takedown attempt in the opening seconds of the first round.

Al Kooheji was initially supposed to meet Aziz Julaidan for the featherweight title before the Saudi pulled out due to injury.

That’s not all.

After being bombarded with punches all through the first round, Tunisian Amin Nacheb flipped the tables and surprised everyone with a TKO win over the Kuwaiti boxer Abdulrahman Alenzi.

And in the third title fight, Mostafa Rashed earned a split decision win over Egyptian wrestler Osama Al Saeidy to become the new light heavyweight champion after Mohammad Karaki.
