Rumors about an interesting match-up have been buzzing in the Desert Force light heavyweight division. Abdelali Ait Yachou, who last fought to a decision loss against Christopher Silva at Desert Force in October of last year (2013), will be set to face Amir Ismail who is also bouncing off a loss to former title contender Feras Saada in May of last year as well.
Both these fighters have been out of action for a while with no fights in 2014, but both have had a few good fights in Desert Force and showed that they carry good potential.
Abdelali is a well-rounded fighter who specializes in Brazilian jujitsu and submission finishes. He holds one of the most vicious highlight reels in Desert Force. Yes, who can forget his fight against Mohahmmad Farhat where he held a tight armbar that snapped Farhat’s elbow off ! (Serious respect to Farhat by the way) on his Desert Force debut.
Amir Ismail, on the other hand, is also very much into finishing fights. However, his main strength is the stand-up game. Ismail loves to finish by knockout or technical knockout, having already finished 3 opponents including Ayyub Al-Shemmeri by via knockout in merely 12 seconds of the first round, also earning his own highlight reel in his Desert Force debut.
This one is big and surely entertaining for the light heavyweight division who has recently been missing some action in Desert Force. Nothing less than a new, BIG, highlight reel is expected.
