One of the most highly-anticipated rematches in Arab MMA history is due to get yet another chance, with Tahar Hadbi and Mohammad Fakhreddine set to meet in Jordan on March 2.

Brave Combat Federation’s biggest-ever rivalry is set for an epic meeting at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises, when the promotions makes its first event in the Kingdom Of Jordan. After a No Contest in their first fight, welterweights Tahar Hadbi and Mohammad Fakhreddine have agreed to a rematch, as announced today by promotional officials.

Their first bout was scheduled for last year’s Brave 9, and the two exchanged shots through social media, dividing Brave fans and making sure their meeting was one of the most anticipated bouts of 2017 for Brave fans. However, after a back and forth first round, the fight ended in controversial fashion during the second frame as Hadbi connected with an unintentional low blow and Fakhreddine was unable to continue.

After their first encounter, the trash talk continued as the French-Algerian accused his Lebanese counterpart of faking the injury to pull out of a fight he was beginning to lose while “The Latest” guaranteed that he was ending their rematch in the first round.

Tahar Hadbi said: “I was comfortable fighting him the first time and I will be more comfortable in March. I thought he was more powerful, but now I know he can’t touch me. Look at the damage I did by using only my jab.”

Now, with their contracts finally signed for Brave 10, it’s time to settle what Brave president Mohammed Shahid claimed it was the biggest-ever rivalry in promotional history.

Fakhreddine said: “I’m going to f@ck him up. Jordan is my second country. I started my pro debut there and I’ll keep my record clean there. READ MORE..”

Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises marks the promotion’s first show in Jordan, home to some of Brave’s most decorated fighters, and the sixth country to host a Brave Combat Federation event, after Bahrain, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, India, Kazakhstan, and Mexico.
