The lineup for the Brave Combat Federation’s first event in Europe continues to build with the addition of a this middleweight fight.
Tarek Suleiman (6-5 MMA, 0-1 Brave) is set to meet Chad Hanekom (4-1 MMA, 0-1 Brave) at Brave 13 event in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The events takes place at the SSE Arena on June 9. In the main event, bantamweight champion Stephan Loman defends his title against SBG’s Frans Mlambo. Former UFC lightweight contender Norman Parke meets Myles Price in the co-main.
Hanekom will attempt to rebound from the first loss of his career. He made his Brave debut with a clean record and suffered a UD loss against a tough Ikram Aliskerov. Prior to that loss, Hanekom rode a 4 fight win streak, stopping all his opponents.
Suleiman in turn came short in his Brave CF debut, losing to Will Fleury at Brave CF 10 which took place in Amman, Jordan. Looking at his record, a WIN/LOSE pattern gives positive hope for a victory in his upcoming bout. Yet all jokes aside, this will be Suleiman’s toughest test in a while. A key to victory in this fight will be starting with a fast pace and forcing Chad to wrestle for positions.
Brave 13 fight card so far includes:
Stephan Loman vs. Frans Mlambo (title fight)
Norman Parke vs. Myles Price
Abdulkareem Al-Selwady vs. Erik Carlsson
Tarek Suleiman vs. Chad Hanekom
