After the inaugural day in Abu Dhabi, Riyadh played host to the second tryouts in the “Gulf Tryouts” series organized by ArabsMMA and Desert Force. Riyadh’s “Gulf Tryouts” took place in the Green Halls Stadiums on Friday March 21. During the event, fighters were tested on how well rounded they are in different stations with the end of the evening featuring the top prospects in a sparring session.
As Desert Force roams Arab countries, they will welcome those looking to further establish their career by calling Desert Force their home. The promotion will always be seeking the top next generation fighters to join those tryouts and showcase their talent for a possible contract with the promotion.
Following the evaluations in Riyadh, Desert Force managing director Mohammad Mirza announced via ArabsMMA the kick off of the third season of the all Arab MMA reality show Desert Force Al Academiya. For the first time, the show will be filmed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al Academiya Season 3 is scheduled to broadcast on MBC Action post eid.
