Zagid Gaidarov will take on Abel Brites in an opening bout of BRAVE CF 66 main card. The event takes place on Saturday, November 26 at Politeknik Pariwisata in Bali, Indonesia. The fight card is headlined by a middleweight bout as Chad Hanekom takes on In Jae La.
Zagid Gaidarov vs. Abel Brites
The Bahrain fighter is the 2019 IMMAF World Championship silver medalist. Undefeated at IMMAF circuit, where he won all of his three bouts, sports a 3 – 1 professional MMA record. Gaidarov lost his first bout by a unanimous decision. However, he bounced back and won his next three fights. He made his promotional debut at BRAVE CF 64, where he submitted Brendan Lesar with a rear-naked choke in the second round. Two others victories also were secured before the final bell.
Brites is a much more experienced fighter with a 13 – 7 record. The Australian MMA circuit veteran won three out of the last six of his fights. Most of his wins came by the way of submission. The Australian fighter managed to tap out nine of his opponents, mostly in the first or second round.
Given the Brites’ experience, it’s easy to pick him up as a favorite. That leaves Zagid Gaiderov in the role of the underdog. On the other hand, his amateur championship credentials may balance the amount of time that Brites spend on the regional circuit. Both fighters are focused on taping out their opposition, so the fans could witness a ground game affair.

Brave CF 66 will also feature five Indonesian fighters. Fajar ‘Macho Kamacho’ will make his promotional debut against Nikosi Ndebele. Oloan Silalahi will take on a fellow Indonesian, Wilem Natalex Munster. The fight card will begin with a matchup between two professional debutants, Achterson Andre Rumainum and Randi Febian.
