After picking up a big submission victory against Othman Nijae in the last Desert Force event (May 30, 2016), Ahmed Al Labban is already looking ahead toward his next challenge.
Al Labban had also landed an impressive round 1 knockout against Inad Bouwidan to secure himself Desert Force Al Academiya 77Kg last December. He then went on to choke Al Nijae in a picture perfect guillotine to prove that his ground game could be just as slick.
In a message to ArabsMMA in which he announces opening his new academy “Shadow Fighters”, Ahmed sets his sights on welterweight contender Jarrah Al Selawi. Al Selawi has earned a decision victory Artem Reznikov from Kazakhstan in his latest appearance before his fight against Ramy Hamed/ Julien Piednoir/ Tarek Suleiman was scrapped due to a series of injuries that have striked the fight card.
