After more than 14 months Aziz Julaidan knows what his first assignment will be as a Desert Force featherweight champion.
Julaidan (3-1 Desert Force) will next meet Hamza Kooheji (3-0) in a featherweight championship clash that will serve as the main event at Desert Force 21 taking place March 7, in Jeddah KSA.
Desert Force 21 also features a title fight for the vacant light heavyweight shield between Mostafa Rasha and Osama Alsaedy, as well as a fight between Abdulrahman “Tyson” Alenzi and Amin Nachib for the first ever Desert Force heavyweight title .
The current featherweight champion Aziz Julaidan (3-1) took part of Desert Force Al Academiya Season 2 reality show as a team coach. Though many felt he was doomed to a defeat in front of the previously undefeated featherweight champion Abdulkareem Alselwady, Julaidan went on to claim the Desert Force title in December 15, 2014 after defeating the later in 24 seconds at Desert Force Al Academiya Finale. That setback snapped a four-fight winning streak for the former champion Alselwady.
Since then (December 2014), Julaidan has been inactive which is all about to change with Kooheji being artistically drawn into the background picture of Julaidan sitting on his featherweight throne.
Kooheji, the first professional fighter coming out of Bahrain has won three in a row, 2 of which under the Desert Force banner. In his latest appearance (May 2015) at Desert Force 17, he delivered a second round TKO victory over Al Academiya Season 2 featherweight winner, Ghaleb Harahshe. This win set him straight for a featherweight title shot against Julaidan.
This fight will take place in Julaidan’s home country, a factor that will play a big role in this title scrap. On the other hand Kooheji will have his notable team KHK supporting him all the way to accomplish this mission. As always, may the better man win and may the Desert Force fans always be entertained!

Boring
Shame on you Mirza.
There are much better contenders for the title.
Selwadi is not one of them.
Funny match up, wanting to keep the title in the gulf region tells u alot about how dfc manages things.
