After a recent announcement of “The Sultan” joining Black House MMA, Mehdi Baghdad comes back with more good news as he signs a contract with RFA (Resurrection Fighting Alliance), one of the Top MMA promotions in the United States. He will be making his promotional debut on September 12 against Evan Delong (12-7) from the USA. The fight is set to take action in the upcoming RFA 18 event and both fighters will show up on scale as lighweights (70kg).
Delong is a veteran with 6 amateur fights and 19 professional fights, winning 12 and losing 7. He will look to get back on his winning streak after losing his latest fight which ended his 5 win streak. This fight will surely be a technical fight and intriguing to watch for true fans of the sport.
Baghdad, who took part as the yellow team head coach on the upcoming Al Batal reality show, is a veteran of the mixed martial arts sport with a record of 9 wins and only 3 loses. Mehdi rides a 5 win streak were he managed to submit/Ko all of them. In 2013, Mehdi faced noticeable names like Nick Christy and Dionisio Ramirez ,both of which were riding a three win streak which was ended after facing Mehdi. That’s one hell of a well-rounded fighter and always entertaining to watch.
