After finishing both his opponents at GFC 2 – War of The Lions and GFC 3 – Grand Epic, Mohamed “Mr.KO” Ali is back to defend his title this October. This is by far the toughest test for the Egyptian prodigy as he jumps into the Pro level of MMA against a tough challenger!
Mohamed Ali scored wins impressive wins in his last 2 GFC appearances where he defended his title to launch himself up the bantamweight ladder. He’ll finish out the year with a title defense bout against Aden Baron on October 25 at Al Arabi Club, Kuwait. This will be Ali’s toughest fight so far as he faces a tough Australian fighter who currently trains in Thailand.
Alot of people don’t believe you deserved to call yourself champion just because someone strapped the belt around your waist in the cage. Until you had at least one defense of your title belt, you were no real champion.
And its true, in my case it was the act of defending the gold belt the first time that made a man a champion.
His opponent Aden Baron is a well rounded fighter and a BJJ purple belt who will be representing Phuket Top Team, one of Thailand’s toughest MMA team. Training with the likes of Tommy Yang and JJ Ambrose, both previously competing and winning at GFC 3 – Grand Epic and Anthony Leone an MMA Veteran, Baron comes to this fight with bad intentions!
Mohamed “Mr.KO Ali has proved that he can stand and strike with top level strikers, and he recently joined Team shogun where he’s been refining his overall ground game with Mhamad Karaki and his teammates. Will we see an upset or will Mohamed reign victorious in front of the Arab crowd ?
Stay tuned on ArabsMMA for the full fight card of GFC 4 – Legacy as soon as it is officially announced.
Aden is 14 years old, how is he allowed to fight someone who is 18!?
