Tahar Hadbi snapped a three-fight losing skid in what is seemingly his last mixed martial arts bout.
Though he had previously announced his retirement from the sport in his prior prizefight at Brave CF 79, ‘Fasthands’ seemingly wanted to end his MMA career with a victory and did just that. Hadbi bested Kevin Ruart in their main event middleweight matchup. Taking off his gloves during his post-fight address on the microphone also intimated to some that this might be Hadbi’s swan song from mixed martial arts.
If this was, in fact, his last MMA bout, Hadbi has participated in twenty-five overall fights in the sport. The Algerian has also competed under several promotional banners. This includes the aforementioned Brave CF, Cage Warriors, and 100% Fight to name a few. Hadbi made his pro debut in July 2009 and is regarded as an influential pioneer by many. The 36-year-old Mahmoudi Gym product now has a record of 15-9-0 with 2 no-contests.

Also of note on this card, Elias Nedir maintained his unblemished record inside of the cage. ‘Dreamcatcher’ also made his promotional debut here. This came after his pair of prior professional fights in Cage Warriors Academy and AFG, respectively.
The Algerian also had his first two fights at featherweight and this KOF debut saw him make his first journey down to bantamweight. Nedir defeated Jhonatan Oliveira on points and handed him his first-ever loss in the sport.
The victory came by way of a unanimous decision for the 29-year-old and Nedir improved to 3-0 as a pro overall in mixed martial arts. All three professional contests so far have seen Nedir garner that clean sweep UD win. This was his first fight of the calendar year after his first two bouts came less than a month apart.
