Desert Force officials have recently announced their next event Desert Force 17, taking place on the 18th of May, and already packing up with high level of intensity fights. The event will be hosted in Jordan bringing another sick lineup, with Suleiman Vs Jarrah as the latest addition.
After a submission victory over Mohammad Fakhreddine in his debut at Desert Force 15, Jarrah Al Silawi is back, and this time he will face Tarek Suleiman when Desert Force hits Jordan again! This welterweight bout will be part of the Desert Force 17 fight card and could possibly dictate the next welterweight title contender.
Bouncing off two recent wins in Desert Force, the last being possibly controversial with some reported illegal elbow strikes to the head of Christopher Silva, Tarek Suleiman’s professional record is now 4-2. Though a lot of his fights where at the middle weight division, Suleiman looks much better, faster, stronger and better rounded in the welterweight division. Fighting out of Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand, the Syrian is known to have a good relationship with many former and current fighters at the UFC including the likes of Brian Ebersole and especially Roger Huerta. So, a lot of work will be put in his training camp to guarantee a good fight against a high level striker such as Al-Silawi.
After previously fighting at Cage Warriors, Jarrah Al-Silawi made his made his Desert Force debut against Mohammad Fakhreddine in one of the most upsetting fights on the card. Though the pace of the fight was dictated by Fakhreddine, Al-Silawi managed to submit Mohammad via an impressive Kimura lock in the second round. Al-Silawi is a seasoned Muay Thai fighter who also trains wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. However, even with his proper grappling skills as displayed in his last perfomance, will he be able to handle Tarek Suleiman’s infamous grappling?

I am excited to see the face off !!
As much as I love Jarrah and i root for him, I think Tarek will win this fight because he’s more powerful and would take down Jarrah easily thus controlling the fight. Jarrah has to work hard on his wrestling for this fight or else he will lose. Only 2 scenarios I see Jarrah winning either a KO or a submission on the ground off his guard.
Agree ja3bary .. First of all, Tarek has to make weight … Jarrah has to work on take down defenses. he has to ensure Tarek will not repeat what happened in last fight.
