BREAKING: While BRAVE CF 71 is just days away, sources who have chosen to remain anonymous have informed us that Abdulla Al-Yaqoob has stopped responding to messages and calls and have gone missing after failing to show up to pre-fight interviews. Abdulla Al-Yaqoob is set to face Kenneth Maningat from the Philippines in the opening bout of BRAVE CF 71, on June 19.
However, the fight happening at all is now in doubt since Al-Yaqoob simply cannot be located – not even by his own coaches.
Abdulla is one of the most promising fighters in Arab MMA world, as he looks to follow in the footsteps of his hero Hamza Kooheji, following a lengthy amateur career. Al-Yaqoob is currently undefeated as a professional, with a record of 4 wins and no losses. In his last bout, he defeated Fouad Al-Shami in a bout that won the Arab fight of the year award at BRAVE CF last year. Stay tuned for more details.
